Vektor Medical Strengthens Leadership Team

Vektor Medical has hired Michael Andersen as vice president, Sales, and promoted Mihir Naik to vice president, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. The company claims these personnel changes position Vektor for rapid growth following its recently oversubscribed $25 million Series A funding round.

“The expansion of our leadership team comes at a pivotal moment as we advance commercialization and prepare to enter new markets; we must have the right leadership in place to execute our strategy,” Vektor Medical CEO Rob Krummen said. “Mike brings the expertise and experience to continue to expand vMap adoption among electrophysiologists, while Mihir’s leadership ensures we maintain the highest regulatory and quality standards as we grow. Their leadership is instrumental as we work to deliver on our mission to transform arrhythmia care.”

Andersen has more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience in electrophysiology and medtech, as well as a strong track record of market development, sales execution, and strategic growth. Previously, he held senior roles at Hillrom, Abbott, and St. Jude Medical, where he successfully launched and expanded advanced electrophysiology solutions sales. His expertise will be key in driving the adoption of vMap and accelerating revenue growth as Vektor expands its market presence, company executives said.

Naik joined Vektor Medical in February 2024 as senior director of Quality. Since his hire, Mihir has played a key role in ensuring U.S. Food and Drug Administration compliance, a robust quality and compliance framework that supports commercial success while meeting global industry standards. Before Vektor Medical, Naik was Quality & Compliance director for Alphatec Spine, and previously, worked in quality engineering management positions at SeaSpine. Naik held various quality engineering roles at NuVasive Inc., Zimmer Spine, Abbott Spine, and Atek Medical.
